Message Hi,

I startd the process for make cache, but i see my CPU is 100%, also i decreases SOCs the 16 for 8, but my CPU remains at 100%. Why?

Message "16 for 8". You mean the number of SOCs used to create the cache? If so, that's a fairly large number. I have found that 2-3 map server instances used to create the cache work well in our environment. With such a large number, you are not only dealing with exhausted CPU but possibly some disk contention writing to disk.

Message Hi Brandon, I started my cache with 4 SOCs and my CPU is 55%, that is ok.

Message It all depends on how beefy your server is, if it does not have much RAM it will be at 100% when caching.
