Message Hi,

As far as I know, it' only possibly to access the Bing Maps SOAP API using Tokens, when using the ESRI Silverlight API.

Microsoft have introduced Keys as a preffered way of connecting to the SOAP API, rather than tokens, and I wondered if anyone has been able to wire up a silverlight app using this approach?

The MS approach is documented here:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc980855.aspx

Thanks for any help/pointers.

Regards,

Scott

Message Piece of cake. Just hardcode the key into the Token property of your tile layer:

<esri:Map x:Name="Map">
  <bing:TileLayer ID="Bing Layer" ServerType="Production" LayerStyle="Aerial" Token="..." />
</esri:Map>
