Message	This is one of those minor annoyances. Alt-F11 should open the VBA Editor, but I find it doesn't always work, depending on where your mouse is when you press it. I normally have to click in the data frame before this shortcut will take effect - in the process I often do something inadvertent like unselecting my features or whatever. Why doesn't this shortcut work everywhere? Eg select a layer in the TOC then try Alt-F11, or click on a gray area with a blank toolbar - it sometimes works, other times not. Thanks, Steve

Message	Jonah, I'll submit this to ESRI Australia. But isn't it the purpose of the beta and RC forums to bring these things to the attention of the developers? Otherwise this is just a "how-to" discussion forum. Cheers, Steve

Message	I check these forums before logging a bug, just in case it's me doing something wrong or not understanding how something should work and I think ESRI staff is also monitoring comments here, but to be certain it gets to them you should log this as a bug.

Message	The map view has to be the active item in order for alt f11 to work. If you last click on the TOC (or any dockable window), the shortcut won't work. You must click on the map or for the shortcut key to be effective. There is an enhancement request for Alt-F11 to work all the time in Arcmap: the tracking number is NIM035910. Its always good to get as many users attached to enhancements as possible. If you give me your client site, I will add it to the bug. Alternatively, you can log a support incident requesting to be added to the bug number.
