Message Does Arcpad support buffering points and lines to create polygons? I can not find a button on the GUI to do so, have I overlooked it? Can this be done on an ApplicationBuilder form with VBA code?

Thanks,
Ric

Message Short answer = No, out of the box ArcPad does not contain any functions to do geoprocessing.

That said you could "buffer" points by creating a circle geometry over it. Lines would be tricky too but given enough knowledge you could construct a polygon geometry around the line.

Inovagis have some advanced tools they have written but no buffer functionality as yet;
