Message Hi, I am trying to print a clipped portion of a doqq that I have overlaid with landowner parcels. The printer I am using is a HP 500PS 42in. I am printing on a waterproof paper medium bond. The printed result does not match the colors on my display. The printed color looks like it has to much blue or is to dark. I have tried the changing the settings on printer to no avail.

Thanks, Joe

Message In terms of just adjusting the print by trial and error, the HP print driver has an Advanced Color Settings on the Color tab which can be used. That same tab also has some other settings in Color Management that you might look at. Another source of the problem might lie in the monitor, and there is software to help calibrate it which you might Google for. If you are printing a pdf, depending on the Adobe software, you might see option to manage color in the Edit - Preferences options.

Message Thanks for your reply. After switching to a photographic paper the printed image is a lot sharper and clearer, however the image has a green tint to it. The doqqs are taken in black and white but the printed image has a green tint to it.

Thanks again

Joe
