Subject	Export Google Earth data for use in ArcMap

Message	I'm interested in exporting data from Google Earth into kml/kmz files for use in my ArcMap project. I know that version 9.2 supports kml/kmz data, but how do I go about exporting data from Google Earth so I can view it and use it in ArcMap? As an example, in Google Earth, you can turn on a layer called Airports (under Transportation), which provides polylines of airport features. How can I export this data and bring it in to my ArcMap project?

Message	Thank you. I don't use ArcGlobe, but the script will come in handy. Although, I'm wondering if I need Google Earth Pro to be able to export data to a .kml file? I have the free version of Google Earth, and I don't see any options for exporting data layers. Is it possible?

Message	Hi, You can use GoogleEarth to save certain vector features as KML, and it is free. As far as I know, you cannot export raster from GoogleEarth.

Message	Hi, You'll need to right click on the feature and select "save to my places" and from the table of content, right click on the feature under "My Place" and select "Save places as". You will be prompted to enter a name for the kmz file. I hope this helps.
